JUNIOR BLIZZARD Program Overview

“The gateway to your hometown soccer club!”

WHAT IS THE JUNIOR BLIZZARD?

The Junior Blizzard is the first progression on the Brockport Blizzard Soccer Club development ladder for our youngest players. The Junior Blizzard teaches the fundamentals of soccer using a fun and energetic curriculum that has been tailored to work with 5 & 6 year olds. Our Junior Blizzard sessions last one hour and are held once a week for a 6 week period. All Junior Blizzard sessions are held in a FUN and positive environment, where players are encouraged to explore and play with a smile on their face!


WHO CAN BE A PART OF THE JUNIOR BLIZZARD?

We welcome boys and girls of all skill levels that were born in 2014 & 2015!


WHO WILL BE COACHING THE JUNIOR BLIZZARD?

Coach Bob Hammer is the current Director of Teams for the Brockport Blizzard Soccer Club and has served as the Varsity Boys Soccer coach at Le Roy High School since 2008. A former NCAA Division I athlete at St. Bonaventure University (St. Bonaventure, NY) and player for the Indiana Invaders (South Bend, IN), Coach Hammer has a passion for sharing his love for the game of soccer in fun and creative ways!  


WHEN AND WHERE IS THE JUNIOR BLIZZARD HELD?

WHEN:   FALL SESSION (Saturdays 9:00 am - 10:00 am)

WINTER SESSION (Mondays 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm) 

DATES:  FALL SESSION (Starts Saturday after Labor Day, 6 consecutive Saturdays)

WINTER SESSION (Starts the Monday after New Years, 6 consecutive Mondays)

WHERE: FALL SESSION (Sweden Town Park Field #5) / WINTER SESSION (Salmon Creek) 

 


 

WHAT IS THE COST FOR THE JUNIOR BLIZZARD?

Registration Fee:      $60 (Please register at brockportsoccer.org) 

Includes Brockport Junior Blizzard T-Shirt

Please bring cleats, shin guards, and a water bottle
